Heather Fothergill is a dedicated operations and finance professional with a passion for supporting mission-driven work. With a background in human resources, business ownership, and financial management, Heather brings a wealth of real-world experience to her role as Financial Manager at the Ballard Center for Social Impact. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Westminster University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences with a focus in Human Resources Management from George Washington University. Heather's expertise spans payroll administration, financial oversight, team leadership, and creative problem-solving—skills she uses daily to ensure the center's operations run smoothly and sustainably.

Before joining the Ballard Center, Heather was leading and managing early childhood education programs as the managing director of two childcare and daycare schools. She also served as a business assistant at Brigham Young University, where she provided essential administrative support. Heather is committed to fostering environments where people can thrive—whether through financial stewardship, empowering teams, or building systems that support social impact.
