LEGACY (discontinued) Ballard Scholar

With the start of the new Global and Community Impact Minor, the Ballard Scholar award has been discontinued. Students who started earning the Ballard Scholar before Fall Semester 2022 can still complete the Ballard Scholar if they are not pursuing the Global and Community Impact Minor.

The Ballard Scholar for Social Impact Award does not show up on student’s transcripts. However, recipients are listed below.

“Completing the requirements for the Ballard Scholar has given me a solid foundation for a career in social entrepreneurship, which I plan on doing once I graduate. The classes give students an introduction to the field of social innovation, and the experiential requirement gives students real, practical experience.”
