Brent Goddard, Transformative Mentor

Brent is excited to work with Ballard Student Employees as a Transformative Mentor. He expects to help students in a number of ways based on his previous experience below:

  • Helping to Manage Projects: Brent can help student employees on their projects and assignments based on many years of managing brands like Coco Puffs and Oral-B Toothbrushes, and projects like an Olympic Winter Games sponsorship and the Nourish the Children Initiative which provided over 600 million nourishing meals to children in many countries. Brent is eager to find ways to be creative and effective with your Ballard Center programs.
  • Helping to Get the Job: Helping students get jobs is another one of Brent's specialties based on years of teaching “How to Write Winning Proposals” at Franklin Covey and working with the students from over 30 classes of Social Impact Projects and Corporate Social Impact. Last time he worked as a Transformative Mentor, Brent helped students get internships, summer jobs, degree program acceptance, and career opportunities through teaching proven job acquisition skills and drawing on his own contact network.

Brent is on campus every Thursday from 11:00 to 4:00 and is also available for phone or zoom appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
