Aaron specializes in encouraging ‘helping’ behavior and ethical decision-making in both nonprofit and business settings. He has worked as a BYU professor since 2018, teaching courses in nonprofit management, social innovation, negotiations, and business ethics. Aaron’s approach to teaching and leadership is rooted in his extensive educational background, having completed three BYU degrees, including a BA in anthropology, an MPA, and a JD.
In addition to his professorship, Aaron is the co-founder of Merit Leadership Inc., a company that specializes in teaching individuals and organizations how to manage ethical challenges in the workplace. He also serves as the faculty director and co-founder of BYU’s Grantwell program, through which over 200 graduate students have advised over $1.5 million in foundation giving. Aaron’s commitment to ethical leadership and social impact make him a valuable addition to the Ballard Center and its students.
