With a BA in anthropology from BYU, a JD from BYU Law School, and an MPA from BYU, Aaron brings a diverse approach to teaching and leadership. As a professor at BYU since 2018, Aaron has led courses in nonprofit management, social innovation, negotiations, and business ethics. He specializes in encouraging helping behavior and ethical decision-making in both nonprofit and business settings.
In addition to his teaching, Aaron is the co-founder of Merit Leadership Inc., a company that helps individuals and organizations manage ethical challenges at work. He also co-founded and directs BYU’s Grantwell program, where over 200 graduate students have helped advise more than $1.5 million in foundation giving. Aaron inspires those around him through his commitment to ethical leadership and social impact.
