Marketing and Communications

Jess leads the marketing and communications team in their efforts to build and nurture a worldwide community of changemakers. She has positioned the Ballard Center as a thought leader in faith-based social impact through high-quality storytelling, design, and digital media. Over her three years working at the Ballard Center, Jess has optimized ballardbrief.byu.edu, resulting in over a million annual views, and inspired hundreds of thousands in donations by publishing the Ballard Center Impact Reports. Jess also expanded the marketing team's reach by building an in-house video production studio where her team has produced dozens of videos, including the free online Do Good. Better. mini course.

Following her full-time mission to Los Angeles, Jess received a BA in Spanish from the University of Utah, a film production certificate from UCLA, and her MBA from BYU. Prior to her work at the Ballard Center, she ran her own video production company and built the Bagpipe Master brand with her husband, which has garnered millions of views and over fifty thousand subscribers. With her creative background and passion for storytelling, Jess continues to expand the Ballard Center’s reach and publish work that uplifts and inspires the Do Good. Better. Community.
